The participation orientation causes the identification with the task, the qualification and the motivation of the employees to increase. Participation-oriented management behavior promotes the independence of employees. The extended concept of situational leadership presented here makes it possible to find the appropriate leadership style, implement it successfully and increase efficiency. The theory and practice of situational leadership helps to find the optimal leadership style for every situation. The prerequisites include the right design of framework conditions and the constant development of leadership skills.
